Yes, autumn is on it's way here in the mountain west. Looking up at the mountaintops this evening I noticed the shades of reds and yellows. Slowly the colors will cascade down the mountainside until they reach the valley level.
Fall in the mountains is a beautiful sight. I love the many shades of reds, yellows, oranges, and browns. It's a display of God's magnificent workmanship. I look forward to taking pictures in the canyon of the splendid sights, but fall is also a little depressing because I know winter is not too far behind. So while I love the cooler temperatures in the evening, the shortening of daylight reminds me that the beauty of fall will only last so long.

Hello Carrie!! So good to hear from you. This week I was driving through the canyon and was too in awe of the amazing leaf changes. This is by far my very favorite time of year. Well, starting Monday, it sounds like we will be neighbors! After I get situated and comfortable at work, I will come find you!!
