A Shopping Experience

Last week we ventured out for an interesting little trip. Heading down to the big city, we encountered some pretty heavy traffic on the way home. Because of this, we decided to exit and grab a bite to eat, as well as stop in one of our favorite stores, Kohl's. As we entered, the first thing that grabbed us was the updated layout and design of the store. The local Kohl's has been around for a few years, but this one practically sparkled and shined.

There were wooden floors, beautiful curtains, color coordinated furnishings (or so Carrie says), and more. There was even a place for me to sit while Carrie tried on her clothes, a nice leather couch sitting practically in the fitting room area, so she wouldn't have to walk out very far. After rummaging through the clearance racks and finding a new pair of black pants for me, as well as a nice painting for our bedroom and cute outfit for Carrie, we headed up to the checkout. As we talked with the cashier, he told us that the store was just a few months old, and the first in our state. We were so impressed that we just may find a few more excuses to head back that way when we next need to scratch the Kohl's shopping itch! Has anyone else been to one of these new Kohl's?
