Sorry we haven't posted in awhile, we've been busy eating Halloween candy! You see, in years past we've always waited until the last minute to buy Halloween candy, not sure of what our Halloween plans would be. This year, however, we decided to be a little more organized and plan ahead. I noticed candy was on sale last week and I had a few coupons, so we decided to buy 4 bags of candy.
Since we don't have that many kids in our neighborhood (a lot of the wards offer trunk or treating as an alternative), we decided to select candy we liked, since we could eat any that was left over. We got home from the store last week and decided to open a bag and eat just one. It's been so long since we've purchased candy for ourselves, a small candy bar sounded good.
The next day, another small candy bar sounded good, so we ate 1 or 2 more. This lack of self-control behavior continued, until today we realized we'd finished eating 2 bags, and had opened the remaining 2! We didn't even have enough to handout anymore. So back to the store we went today, only this time the shelves were much emptier than last week. We bought 4 more bags and will keep them unopened until Friday. So much for our self-control!

I'm with you on not having any self-control when it comes to candy. I can't have it around the house at all. :-)
