Basically, it's a series of questions that she answered, that I answer, and that would continue on if I had more friends in the blogging world.
Here are the rules: List seven songs that you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they’re not any good, but they must be songs you’re really enjoying now, shaping your Summer of 2008. Post these instructions in your blog, along with your 7 songs. Then tag 7 other people to see what their favorites are this year!
This whole topic is rather interesting to me right because lately the only time I listen to music is in my car or at the gym. Usually when I'm driving around town, I'm not in my car for long- just 10-15 minutes to arrive at almost all my destinations. As a result, I don't have much time to listen to many songs. What typically happens is I get hooked on one CD for a period of time. After all, think how long it takes me just to listen to a CD once!
Anyway, here are my 7 favorite songs:
1. You Are There by Jennie Williamson. I love this song. It talks about no matter where you go, God is always there with you, right beside you.
2. Rejoice by Jennie Williamson. This song helps me stay sane with all the other crazies on the road, as I affectionately call them.
The remaining 5 songs are all from the same CD. I told you I get hooked on one CD. Then when I get tired of that one, I move to another. Listening through several CDs could take weeks, at which time I'm ready to listen to the 1st one again!
3. Traveling Light by Joel Hanseon and Sara Groves
4. I Will Not Fear by Adore
5. Gentle Shepherd by Amy Grant
6. I Shall Not Want by Bryan White
7. Following Me by Tait
These last 5 are from a CD connected to a book I read, Traveling Light, by Max Lucado. Even though it's been over a year since I read the book and went through the study, the songs still remind me of the things I learned.
